Football every day
Day in, and day out, it's all about football in Nathan Rutjes' family. Nathan has passed on his football genes to his son Lavezzi. Together they ensure that football is played seven days a week. "Football is a very important part of our lives. After my professional career, I started working as a trainer, coach and coordinator at Sparta's youth academy. Drying wet football boots
Here in the Netherlands, football is of course not always dry. It all goes on regardless of whether it rains or not. Nathan and Lavezzi regularly come home with soaked football boots.
"In the past, we always dried those wet football boots by putting the hairdryer on them or stuffing them with newspapers. That of course does not work well at all and takes far too much time. We always had several pairs of football boots so that we could take a dry pair with us. could take while the shoes from the previous training were still drying. And with Lavezzi still growing, the football boots went through like crazy. That is of course not possible."
